Gorillaz Sound System

Although the DJ group Gorillaz Sound System is related to the virtual band Gorillaz, those who expect to see Damon Albarn and other Gorillaz musicians on stage will be disappointed: this show will be just Gorillaz' tracks played by DJs, combined with video projections of Gorillaz cartoon characters. Still, it is a fairly rare show, as Gorillaz Sound System have done only a handful of gigs to date, including an MTV Send Off Party at the Bloomsbury Ballroom in London in October 2007, at the British music festival Creamfields in 2008. Also on the bill for this Red Devil Friday the 13th concert are British DJs Layo & Bushwacka as well as their Russian colleagues Fonar, Grad, Mike Spirit, Koreyets and Melodica.
